active (check the box Active in Setup|E-mail).
Try to enable logging (can be done in Setup|Options) and
check the messages you get from your POP server (they are also shown in the status bar) to

new mail. First of all you should make sure that the appropriate box E-mail
Client is checked in Setup|E-mail. Depending on
your e-mail client it might be tricky to get a working command line, but you can start
most clients by executing a shortcut. Here
